John Geiger: 1921 - 2011

Sadly, former Wright apprentice John Geiger has passed.

Geiger, an apprentice from 1947 to 1954, supervised the building of the Zimmerman House in New England and the installation of “Sixty Years of Living Architecture”. He has worked diligently to document Wright’s work and to compile a database of the contributions of the apprentices.

He created the phenomenal website “In the Cause of Architecture”.

Mark Hertzberg has more information, and a profile of Geiger that he wrote in 2007, on his site.
