A companion exhibit to “Frank Lloyd Wright: Organic Architecture for the 21st Century” designed for children has opened at the Milwaukee Art Museum. “Just the WRUGHT Size: Designing and Building Small Houses” opened this past week-end and runs through January 2012.
What will you build? Try your hand at building as you learn from the pros. Created in conjunction with the Museum’s Frank Lloyd Wright feature exhibition, Just the WRIGHT Size considers Wright’s lessons for the present day. The celebrated architect from Wisconsin sought to design small, eco-friendly homes that everyone could afford. In this hands-on exhibition, you will learn about the techniques Frank Lloyd Wright used to make small homes. You will also see how architects from around the world still use his ideas.
Admission to Kohl’s Art Generation Gallery is free with museum admission, and children under the age of 12 are admitted free to the museum.
