According to Sacnilk.com’s latest update, the film has sold 602,078 tickets across 8,850 shows in India, resulting in an advance box office collection of ₹14.80 crores. The Telugu version alone has earned ₹1.5 crores, with 993 shows selling 99,917 tickets on the first day. In Tamil, the film sold 1,911 tickets across 87 shows, and for the Kannada version, 1,532 tickets were sold in 24 shows. The first-day advance box office collection for “Animal” in India has reached ₹13.95 crores.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the latest booking update, revealing that “Animal movie” has already sold 203,000 tickets. The board has also objected to the use of words like “kaala” and “poshak,” which have been replaced with “vastra.” Additionally, two unidentified dialogues have been modified for better appropriateness.
In an interview, director Sandeep Reddy Vanga expressed satisfaction with the ‘A’ certificate and clarified that the film is intended for audiences aged 18 and above. He emphasized that he won’t take his son or younger family members to watch the film in theaters.
Vanga also shared insights into the film’s length, stating that the initial cut was 3 hours and 45-46 minutes, but he managed to trim it to 3 hours and 21 minutes. He expressed confidence in the film’s appeal and suggested that it will engage and challenge the audience’s thinking.
